According to The Answer B!tch, while Swift has been seen lunching with Lautner and going bowling with Cory Monteith, the Mayer rumors may be just that -- rumors. John and Taylor have recently been touring near each other, but the "evidence" of them being together (ifyaknowwhatwemean) at a hotel in Texas is extremely tenuous.

Also, Mayer's been in such hot water lately (calling Jessica Simpson "sexual napalm," talking about his white supremacist penis, how he's never really gotten over Jennifer Aniston) that we can't think his next move would be to corrupt America's country-pop princess.

There is also the possibility that laidback Swift just has a lot of guy friends. Hollywood always wants to read more into something than is really there.
