She’s already accomplished so much at such a young age, and last week it was announced that Taylor Swift is the new face of CoverGirl cosmetics. Of her new gig, the “Fearless” singer told, “I love makeup. When I go on stage, I get to play with my look and try on all kinds of different colors — try red lips tonight, purple eyeshadow tomorrow. You get to play around with all these different characters, and I think that’s one of my favorite things about makeup you can put on a new character.”

For her first campaign as a CoverGirl, Swift wanted to show off herself and her own personality. “I wanted to sort of show how makeup can play up your natural features. It’s not about changing how you look. I feel like I still look like myself, and that’s exactly what I hoped for.”And as far as fashion goes, Swift has her favorite designers and must-haves to bring out her personality. She tells, “On the road, I love wearing sun dresses. Some of my favorite things to wear are by Alice + Olivia, Rebecca Taylor, Betsey Johnson, Anthropologie, and Urban Outfitters.”
