Taylor Swift reached out to friend Demi Lovato to offer her support, after the Disney Channel star was recently dumped by her boyfriend Joe Jonas.
The country star felt she had some experience, once being the victim in a Jonas break-up herself. Therefore, she was able to help console Lovato by giving her advice.
"Taylor sent Demi a quick text message, saying that everything happens for a reason, and it will only make her stronger," said a close friend of Swift's to Angry Ape. "She told Demi if she ever needed anything, to just ask.
The Camp Rock co-stars dated for about two months before Jonas called it quits with Lovato over the phone, which seems like a step up from the text message he used to break up with Swift two years earlier.
